Jasim presents at AACE Annual Meeting 2021

Dr. Sina Jasim has recently participated in the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists held virtually this year from May 26 to 29, 2021. 

Dr Jasim presented the session titled “DSN Year-in-Review: Thyroid” which covered the most significant research advances within the last year in clinical thyroidology, how research data can improve patient care and the impact of the research findings on clinical practice.

She also moderated the in-depth symposium titled “advances in the management of thyroid cancer” which covered recent advances in the field of thyroid cancer management.

Dr. Jasim served as the thyroid DSN (disease state network) chair at AACE during the last year and currently serves as the editor-in-chief for AACE Clinical Case Reports journal Editor in 2021.

Dr. Jasim is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipid Research at Washington University School of Medicine. Her clinical and research interest focus on thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, as well as Endocrine neoplasia. Dr. Jasim directs the Multidisciplinary Endocrine Neoplasia Clinic at Washington university in St. Louis. The clinic offers integrated and coordinated care among multiple specialties including surgical oncology, ENT, endocrinology, genetics, oncology, radiology, and pathology.
