Biography

Anyuan He was born in Shannxi province, China. He graduated with a bachelor of bioengineering in 2009 from Southwest Jiaotong University, Cheng Du. He received his PhD from East China Normal University in zoology in 2016. In 2017, He joined Lodhi’s lab as postdoc research associate to study peroxisomal biology.

Research Interests

Peroxisome, a little organelle exist in virtrully all eukayotic cells, respond to the external stimuli by adjusting their size, shape, and number. My current interests are the study of the role of peroxisome and peroxisomal enzymes in the development of obesity and metabolic syndrome.
