Samantha Adamson, MD, PhD was awarded a $5,000 research grant from the Endocrine Fellows Foundation. Dr. Adamson is a first-year clinical fellow on the research pathway. Her project, Primary cilia regulation of insulin secretion from human beta cells, will be conducted in the laboratory of Jing Hughes, MD PhD. This marks the 5th Endocrine Fellows Foundation grant award to Washington University endocrine fellows in as many years.
