The event is organized by the Office of Neuroscience Research and designed to have broad relevance to the Neuroscience and broader research community: The keynote talk will address our understanding of sex and gender development, followed by a panel discussion with focus on sex bias in autism, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer and numerous other contexts; the ways we incorporate sex as a biological variable in our research programs; the history that led to our modern day understanding of sex and gender; and observations on healthcare including differences in sexual development.
Registration is optional but appreciated, and allows you to submit questions for the panel in advance.
