Jing Hughes, MD, PhD was recently selected as an awardee for the 2023 Early Career Development award, provided by the Central Society for Clinical and Translational Research (CSCTR). The organization develops and supports communication, collaboration and career development of medical researchers primarily located in the central region of the United States.
The award recognizes and provides support to Dr. Hughes as an outstanding new investigator conducting translational research within the clinical department of endocrinology.
I am grateful for the nomination and support by my mentors, Drs. Clay Semenkovich and David Piston. I appreciate the recognition of my work by the CSCTR and look forward to contributing to islet research.
