On November 10, our annual Diabetes Day Symposium took place at the Eric P. Newman Education Center. The event hosted guest speaker Debbie Thurmond, PhD, of City of Hope Beckman Research Institute, presenting “Reversing Type 2 Diabetes: Getting the Band Back Together.”
Also taking place during the symposium, fifty-eight poster presenters showcased their work to be judged by principal investigators. After careful consideration, the following individuals were selected as winners:
